Slightly worried as i will need to leave my job in August to study part time on a two year access course at university in September to get onto a full time midwifry course in due course. My child will be 1 1/2 in September. What financially am I entitled to supportwise in benefits and grants as a part time student? Will leaving a 16hr job delay my right to benefits? I'm abit worried with rent, food, and bills as a single lone parent; this is the only way to better myself for my son by the time hes in school. I dont want to be stuck im a minimum wage dead end job that treat me badley all my life.

Advice?

You should be entitled to loans and grants for childcare? Contact student finance and find out what you can claim
