Is there any thing I can use to help dry skin

My midwife suggested nipple cream and it worked a treat, it's completely safe and acts as a barrier so it works in a couple of days. Hope that helps!

Aveeno. It's amazing stuff. They have a baby range too.

Coconut oil works really well too!

All babies get this! I loved the baby oil stuff that comes as a gel. It's really good and easier to apply than normal baby oil. I'd also recommend using baby lotion after every bath even when it gets better Smile

Ah thank you, what's my best bet, I going to give her a bath, but want to help her dry skin

Porridge oats in an old sock/muslin in the bath. Acts as an emollient!
Also - it's totally normal. My son shed his skin like a snake and my midwife told me it's because he was overdue so all the vernix came off before he was born.

Second for coconut oil here, it's been working a treat on my three week old.

We got oilatum from midwife to put in bath, and also moisturiser. It is common, particularly if baby was overdue.

Aveeno baby body wash and cream has been brilliant for us
