get a leather couch

or plastic garden chairs

I think throws would be a really good idea. It's unlikely to be the last time your cream sofa is compromised after all.

I think steam cleaners might do the job. You can buy little ones quite cheaply from Argos.

i had litterally just took the throw off to stick it in the wash typical huh.... dont worry wil def be getting leather. You wouldnt belive that ive actually got my settee insured with DFS to be cleaned or repaired yet a year into the insurance and they no longer stock the material and they dont seem to be able to get the stains out even though its meant to be scotch guarded grrrrrrr
