Just a general pondering

interesting thought! i may well try it tonight- could be the solution to shelling out on tots sz3 fleece wraps to go over the two bamboozles + boosters that one of mine wears at night!

On the subject and while you're here flame- ,is anything more absorbant than bamboozles/bambineos? he is getting close to training age but floods his nightime nappies (diabetic so does have to drink a lot!)

I would put a wrap on in case does a big explosive poo! That could be truly terrible to clean up! yyeuueueueeechchchhhhh! I get where you are coming from re the wicking away of moisture - but wouldn't you end up washing his fleece sleepsuit everyday?

nearlythere - your son wears 2 bamboozles at night? - I used an easypeasybumper on my ds2 - terry outer, fleece lined and a pocket to stuff - could stuff in a prefold or terry for even more absorbency. They are quite big nappies so alot of room for growth in them. I used an xl rikki over the top.

yep two bamboozles and a terry booster in between! but in his defence he drinks a lot because he is diabetic and we keep him topped up with milk to stop any stomach acid problems etc!

Bless his cotton bottom

oh and i tend to have to wash his fleece suits everyday anyway because his wraps don't fit properly over the mountain of cloth! am in the process of justifying sz 3! hence if this worked it would be great- but then i would probably have to wash his grobag more wouldn't i!

I tend to have to wash everyday because he wears wool or fleece to bed anyway so the smell transfers.

Bamboo is the most absorbant thing out there. Possibly adding some microfibre boosters in between the two nappies would make it slimmer and more absorbant than the terry booster - bamboo boosters would be better than the terry too.

Wool shorties would work better than the fleece wraps probably - need much less washing, and that much more stretchy to fit over all the bulk.
