I'm not sure, have you got your red book to hand? Mine is packed away or I would check for you. My daughter is 22 months and I haven't heard anything yet...and seeing as she had her one year check at 9 months old Confused I thought I may have heard something by now! Hopefully someone else will give you an answer!

I think they aim to do them around 27 months now, and mostly at children's centres - not in home.

Of course it depends on the council. Why don't you ring your local HV and ask?

No we just got sent a form to fill in

Yes we had one for dc3 at 27mo, and it was a school nurse type person who did it, not hv as had previously with dcs1&2. It's generally been something that comes out from the health clinic with an appointment for you, but they often have a backlog and can run a few months later in some areas.

I think they do them right up to 2.11 now. My daughter is 2.4 and we haven't heard anything yet.

My son had his the week of his second birthday. We're in West Oxfordshire. However friends from other areas in the county have waited much longer.

TeaBelle · 17/05/2017 16:45

Our area cut them for a long time, although they have been recently reintroduced. So you may not get one at all

MrsGB2225 · 17/05/2017 16:45

My son is almost 27 months and has his next week. They send a questionnaire first and then you have an appointment to go through the results. I called up th health visitors a couple of weeks ago as I hadn't heard anything about the check.

BellyBean · 17/05/2017 20:21

I'd get in touch but they're formally 2 and a quarter checks now so not out of scope yet.

Outbackshack · 17/05/2017 20:22

Ours was a month before 3rd birthday...and they forgot to put questionnaire in the envelope.

DD is almost 2yr 4m and we have just today received a form to fill in and an appointment for a home visit next week. Perhaps call your HV to check Smile
