Potty training with new baby imminent!

My daughter's 2.3 and I think she's ready to potty train - she always announces when she's done a poo, recently telling us when she's pooing, even. However, I'm 34 weeks pregnant, and not sure whether to try it now and risk her regressing when the baby comes if she feels a bit put out by the new arrival, or whether to just go ahead on the basis that if she's ready, she'll just get on with it.
Any advice, anyone??

From my experience I feel it is better to let them try when they express an interest, or you may miss your window of opportunity. If she does regress, what have you lost, really? You wouldn't be in any worse position than if you had left it, imo. I know I was v fed up having 2 in nappies when dd2 was born, but unfortunately dd1 was only 23 months and not ready before the birth of her sister.

she sounds like she may be ready i left my little one until until beggining of this year, shes 3 in 4 weeks,
but i used to leave a potty in room and left her walk about with no nappy and she soon picked it up,
you could always try that,
hope this helps.
