Help needed to decide which course to try to get onto in Uni!

Most of you know I am doing the Access to Nursing Course, which I hope to do midwifery. But, my confidence is still pritty low from the PND, and I honestly feel that I won't get accepted for the course, so why bother applying!

I am also doing a Cert to Higher Ed in the local community, and am really enjoying sociology and psychology, and starting to think that heading in that direction might be better. But, I honestly do not know.

I know I can apply for midwifery and if I have no luck, apply the following year for another course, but I feel my confidence (what I have) will go really backwards if I am not accepted.

So, what's best?
Thanks

Could you speak to someone from the college about this?

I'd say go for the midwifery if that's what you really want to do. Esp if you think you might regret it if you go for another option. I would also assume that if you didn't get in you could apply elsewhere/to another course during Clearing? That way you wouldn't have to wait a whole year.

Also, could you do some modules on those other subjects as part of your midwife course? Not sure how it works.
