Puddleducks- is it worth it?

We are on our second term of Puddleducks and DS (aged 2) has had a major wobble, he doesn't like the teacher for dunking him underwater but he does seem to be getting his confidence back now.

Just wondering if others felt puddleducks is worth the money? Did it help your child swim and how long did it take before they could swim?

I feel like it's really quite pricy and whilst we both enjoy it, I don't really want to get to a point where I've spent hundreds of pounds on it if there is another way to teach DS to swim, that he enjoys.

DD1 did it for about a year and a half and could swim independently by the end of it, but she only started when she was 3.
