18 month old suddenly waking at night!

Our 18 month old has always been a good sleeper, but recently she's been waking in the night screaming frantically! She keeps taking her sleeping bag off herself and then sit in her cot spitting until one of us goes in but when we lie her back down and go to leave she starts screaming again!
We've tried giving her a bottle to settle her but that doesn't work!
The worst thing about all this, I'm pregnant and due in 2 weeks! I really don't want to be up with my 18 month old and a newborn at the same time!!
Any help would be great!!

Nightmares maybe? Think they are quite common at this age and ive definitely heard of an 18 month sleep regression.

Sorry probably not what you wanted to hear! But like so many things with under-2s, its a phase and will pass. Good luck!

There's a bit on the 18 month sleep regression here and good luck Brew

Sounds like she's having night terrors. They are very common in children and are usually just a phase. Just stay calm, speak quietly and help her back to sleep. She won't even remember having them.
