.. when the eTMA comes back for collection, does it actually say so?? Because my cut-off date with the 6th and there doesn't appear to be anything yet.. (and I thought this was supposed to speed things up considerably..) I did the dummy eTMA thing at beginning of course(for which I "got 100% pmsl ).. but I am still unclear about actual collection. I did collect the dummy one.. but it took me a while to find on my system.

Assuming you click "collect TMA" and that if it is there to collect then it is obvious? It appears that the only marked eTMA available for collection is still the dummy one.. but I keep wondering if I am missing something..

Thanks

Shiny x

i didnt even know it comes through on internet..so they dont send them to you? i`m new to this so shall be watching this thread

They come back to you on the net if you send them on the net Bambi. On the course I'm on (K204) you can choose to use the eTMA system or you can still do it the "old fashioned" way, with a PT3 form, through the post.

I thought the idea of the eTMA system was to speed things up but nothing yet.. unless I'm missing it somehow..!

I'm glad I'm not using the new system this year: from what I can gather a lot of tutors are technophobes who are struggling to cope

My tutor didn't sound too sure about the system either, so I may just post it to her instead.

It's a great system. It allows you to have a back up copy of the TMA. When it's marked you will see the mark on the collection page and you click collect and you get it and your tutor comments. It's wonderful and much cheaper than the post office. It does depend on when your tutor marks them and remember that they have 2 weeks in which to return them.

Oh thanks Marsy

What's great is that your tutor makes comments that you hover the mouse over and you see his/her full comments on that part of your assignment. And because it comes back to you online you can save a copy and not worry about tearing it etc or the DTs drawing all over the salient points.

Anyhoo.... need to get off to my bed. Long day tomorrow!

Oh and you're welcome shiny.

Its a much better system than snail mail. You will get an e-mail when your TMA is marked and ready to collect.

sunnyjim · 02/04/2007 14:47

you get an email in your OU mailbox when it is ready to collect

ILoveDolly · 11/05/2007 21:59

my tutor emailed mine back to me with comments and the pt3 form was available for collection on the etma site

MrsWho · 11/05/2007 23:10

My computer won't let me get mine back I have to do it at work
