selling re-usable nappies on eBay?

have any of you done this? I ask because i listed a number of nappies/wraps last night (first time selling nappies on ebay) and overnight the listings were cancelled and I got a message from ebay headquarters saying it was due to adult/erotic content.
I emailed this morning to find out what was going on, thinking there had been some mistake and have just seen a response from them saying it's because they are "used undergarments" and that breaches ebay policy.

Wtf? doesn't everyone sell used nappies on ebay? I've certainly bought some there previously.

Am nervous now as I listed them again today blissfully ignorant and just thinking there had been some silly mixup. What should I do now?

It's a new thing, mad isn't it?
There's a petition doing the rounds against it, I'm sure someone will be on with the link soon, my searching skills are non-existent.

oh I see, I never realised

well, they are still there this morning and I think I am going to leave them, although it'll be awful if they get pulled at the last minute when there are (hopefully) lots of bids on. And frustrating for the bidders too.

Oh hogs, I don't know what to do...

(given a lot of the stuff you see on ebay this is ridiculous verging on sublime!)

Its a nightmare - I'll find the link in a bit... Put them on NappyLady classified ads - you normally get more anyway, and no fees

Some of them have a fair few bidders though. Guess I could email them and let them know I'm moving the sales...

thanks

I know a lot of people have had them pulled in the last few minutes

jeangenie · 11/03/2007 17:40

the sales pulled by ebay you mean flamesparrow?

if that's the case I really should move them now before bids get high

and it took me soooooo long to list them all , being a novice seller and all

...off to check out nappylady...

I had a swimming nappy pulled last night. I thought it was because I put cum in the title - but apparently not. I started a thread here and I've posted the response I got from Ebay when I queried it.

Yes, ebay pulled the auction just before it closed
