DD 2 will stay in bed however DS 5 not too keen and not sure whether this contributing to moodiness for first couple of days of week or is it just being back at school and routine again?

I try and let bedtime slip a little at the weekend in the hope that ds1 will stay in a little later in the morning - sometimes works by about 20mins! Doesn't seem to affect him on Monday morning, but then, he's only little!

Our so-called bedtime routine goes completely to pot on Friday and Saturday nights - particularly if there's something we want to do - could be telly, could be a complex making project, could be a UNO obsession. I think the good thing about routines is that once theyare established, they can be ben to circumstances.
