How many of you have gotten pregnant AFTER your dp/dh had the snip????

Someone i know has just had her 4th baby after her dp had had the snip!!! - here's me thinking its as good as a guarantee!!! how common is it????????

better not be over common or I'll be on my 4th. I've not heard of anyone falling pg after dp or dh has had the all clear after 2 smear tests. Have heard of a few who never bothered with smear test and fell pg or didn't want until after smear tests. When dh had snip he was told he needed to have 24 ejaculations before all smear already in system would be flushed out and before smear tests were carried out at 16 weeks and 20 weeks post. Only problem is a lot of men don't like fulling plastic pot for smear test - who can blame them so don't bother - dh hasn't had all clear yet so may be we're playing with FIRE

DH got his done last march, he only got the all clear last week, they were determined little buggers. Saw the consultant last week, apparently in rare cases it can fail, the tubes re-attach or the man has two tubes on one side sometimes, and it can get missed!!

oh God better push dh to get test done don't fancy have another dc already have 3 and 3sc.
