What the?!! EASTER BUNNY Isn't real...

I haven't ever really spoken about an Easter Bunny but my daughter is pretty insistent that he is real. She's 6 yrs this month. I don't agree with the Easter Bunny tradition and don't really know where she's picked this up from. I'm happy to have Easter Eggs, fun and craft but just don't really want to lie about a secret Easter Bunny. Any ideas how I can break it to her?

I'm no help. This happened to me with my then 6 year old last year. We had never done the Easter Bunny and it pisses me off. But I cracked and went along with it, I'm afraid. I'm still pissed off about it!

Thanks RandomDent I'm glad I'm not alone in this. I'm already worried that I'm slipping into agreeing with her and really feel like I should be nipping it in the bud but I'm crap at that sort of stuff. Where the hell have all these traditions and lies come from?
