My 2.5 yrs old DD is on potty training strike again!!

as she had wee-ed in the potty about 4/5 times but it was ages ago and last time she had poo-ed in it once just after Xmas and i thought she was ready again...but no she wont go anywhere near the potty or she say "Its too late" !! ..... (She had wee-ed in on the loo once before Xmas). Ive mentioned both potty and toilet but she say No and runs away

Since for the past 4 weeks she KNOWS she had wee-ed and poo-ed in her nappy cos she tells me she had done it!! (another !!)...Ive told her gently that she should've of went on the potty but try and do it next time...it never works!!

im thinking of buying a "My Potty" book to get to 'copy' and get more of the idea!..

I know there is no rush atm but she KNOWS !!!!!!

It sounds as if she knows when she has weed or pooed, but not when she needs to, iyswim.

She doesn't sound ready anyway - if she won't go near the potty then you're on a hiding to nothing.

Leave it for a couple of months, see how she feels then.

really that long?? as i thought she wud be ready.....surely she aint teasing me??

She's still pretty young, you know.

And if she's running away from the potty, she's not ready!
