Slatey grey pooh!!

My DD's poohs has a taken a different hue!!
Sorry to be so graphic about it, but I was wondering if anyone else has observed the same..
Consistency is stickyish!! and the colour is more a dark slatey grey..
Pooh is a really nappy filler also and tends to be spread across her bottom.
She is teething ( 2 days are bad and the 2 days are good), but the pooh is the same grey colour..
She has just started taking minadex ( vitamin tonic) and was wondering if that might cause it..
Any ideas/suggestions are welcome..
Thanks in advance

It could be the minadex. Certain iron supplements turn my poo black (TMI?). Try stopping the minadex and seeing if it goes back to normal. Otherwise I would go to the GP. It's normal for poo to change colour, but should still be a version of brown, IYSWIM.

Hi rohey!

Sounds like it could be the tonic as prettycandles says. If she doesn't seem in any discomfort then it may just be worth monitoring. Make sure she's drinking lots of water and high-fibre foods as iron can make you bunged up.

Hi karen99 & prettycandles..

Thanks for the advice...
she seems happy enough and no nappy rash (yet!!) so I will just monitor it for awhile..
Thanks,,
