I have just purchased one and can't get it to work anybody know. My Dd saying you have to bite spout to get it to work surely not?

Yep, thats pretty much it with the no spill cups.

Suck it and see

I've had to cut out the valves in them so that they can flow, otherwise it results in a very agitated baby.
Waste of money IMO.

Ds worked out eventually that you have to bite. It stops their sucking action - if you look, they stick their tongue out when they are feeding off the breast or a bottle. It does take a while though. Doidy cups are also good, but not spill-proof!

No chance of it spilling then

DS never got the hang of them. DD worked it out straight away (she was about 18mnths) then showed DS (3).
