Soft poo - apologies for TMI

Dd is going to stop wearing nappies this weekend. She is ready but I am dreading cleaning up accidents.

The main thing that worries me is: she has really soft poo and normally has a dirty nappy 3-4 times a day - she has a vegetarian diet and loves high fibre stuff like fruit and pulses. I'm really chuffed she likes healthy food (making the most of it while it lasts obviously) but I'm not looking forward to dealing with her poo unconstrained by a nappy. She's also not regular day to day.

Any experience of this anybody?

I had this - we have a high-fibre diet, and my kids eat a lot of fruit. I think DS1's poo is mostly reasonably firm now, he's 5.

Poo incidents are horrible, and made worse by softness - hard poos at least don't go everywhere.

We carried a pot around with us a lot. If caught out, DS1 sometimes would poo in the park, and I would pick it up, like I would for a dog. Not nice, but much nicer than poopy pants!
