Electric breast pump help!

MissyLP · 21/03/2017 23:05

I am researching which breast pump to buy and I'm so confused why the price of a double breast pump is more than twice the cost of 2 single pumps. Surely it will be better to buy 2 single pumps rather than a double? Does this work or am I missing something? Thanks!

You would need more hands to turn 2 on. 😉

I have the medela swing single- one hand free for a coffee!

It depends what you want it for - double ones have more powerful motors and would be more suitable if you wanted to pump a lot.

You can hire a double pump- look at medela symphony hire on their website. It is by far the best pump and is what they use in hospitals. Cheaper than buying 2 single pumps I would think.

I'm selling a double pump (medela "pump in style"). I exclusively expressed so needed something brilliant. This let me do it for a year. (Obviously all tubes etc have been replaced for new.). Let me know if you're interested.
