DD(7) looked at porn on ipad

A few months ago we went to visit some friends and their son (9) showed my DD porn on an ipad or phone when they were all playing upstairs. I didn't know this at the time obviously.
Then I caught DD looking at it on her ipad at home. I was shocked and upset and tried to have a talk with her as best as I could. She was upset and said she wouldn't do it again. I spoke to the boys mum too. And made DD promise she would not speak to other kids about it and to ask me about sex.
I tried to put filters on the ipad and she is only allowed to use it while downstairs with us.
Just caught her again (I went to the bloody toilet) so I have removed the ipad, I honestly thought the filters would work! But I feel terrible, sick to the stomach and very upset. I don't know how to make her understand how bad it is to look at that stuff. She is very remorseful and honestly she is such a lovely girl. I feel so bad.
Should I talk to the school? I don't know, so they know?
Has anyone had a similar situation?

Did you find out why she was looking? Is she curious about people's bodies and what sex is? I think I'd have some age appropriate books around so she can learn about it in a better way. And just keep talking to her and answering her questions.

I'm not sure I'd necessarily speak to school, as it hasn't happened there and I'm not sure what they could do.

I asked her why was she looking and she said "she doesn't know" and "she liked it". It makes me feel sick. But I know that she was curious, and at least she is honest, now.

She's just curious, don't feel bad.
Get her some age appropriate books and talk to her about relationships.
I'm not sure about telling the school but I would ask them for advice on how they approach sex ed. They might have some useful websites that are age appropriate.

Who is your internet service provider? With BT it was easy to adjust the settings so that porn sites are blocked by the router. None of the devices in our house can access porn now. It does mean the adults in your house couldn't watch porn either but I'm guessing you wouldn't care about that in the circumstances. I think all internet providers have to offer this blocking facility now.

Thanks Monkey its not BT but I will ask them. To be honest, she won't be able now as the ipad is cnfiscated and she can use the desktop in the living room for homework.
I know she is just curious. She knows how babies are made as I got pregnant last year and we had an age appropriate talk about it. I am always very honest with her and encourage her to ask me anything.
The fact that she's done this in secret is upsetting. But I understand the curiosity.

Its actually a but cute, she ssid it said something about lesbians so I explained its girls that fall in love with girls, she said "ah, Betsy and Olivia in her class are like that, they hate boys" cue me talling het DO NOT TELL THEM RHEY ARE LESBIANS, as too young to be anything!! Oh dear
