At what age can I start tummy time?

You could start it from day 1 if you wanted to. You can do it on your chest lying down when they're little.

Ah okay, she lays on my chest quite often, didn't even think that that would count as tummy time, thank you!

All sorts counts as Tummy time- being on your shoulder, lying on your knee, lying in gym ball. I find DS likes these but hates being on his front.. I can see why it must be scary having your face so close to the floor when you can't move!

I worry about putting her on the floor for tummy time, because she can hold her head up a bit, but then she drops it and I'm worried she'll end up head butting the floor!
