Sitting down after work

Yesterday, I came home and did not sit down for 2 hours and 20 mins. I don't actually think sitting on the bathroom floor whole twins have a bath counts!

Please do let me know it is just not me.....

I feel another blog post coming about morning madness and evening exhaustion:

I get in from work every day and me and dh probably sit down at about 9pm to eat our tea.
Between getting in at 6 some nights and sitting down we will be doing homework bath time cleaning cooking walking and feeding animals etc etc.
On the days I finish to do school run at 3.30 we still don't sit down till gone 9pm as we have teenagers aswell and washing, ironing, bin emptying etc etc blah blah.

It's a hectic lifestyle for us but very good for the dc as they get the time and attention and help they need every day.

We tend to book a night away every couple of months to wind down. Makes it all seem more do able 😊

last night my toddler wanted to hang on my leg and scream constantly as I tried to cook dinner. I kept thinking about a nice g&t. I managed to sit down just after 8 though!
