Red spotty rash on baby's cheeks

This started as one or two spots last week, then within a few days they spread and are now blotchy clusters on DD's face.

The little red spots are in her ears and on her eyelid too - sounds worse than it is, but still worrying especially as they are spreading

I rang 111, they said sounds like Melia spots and advised going to the pharmacy.

Went to the pharmacy in Boots and they said it looks like an allergy so go to a GP

Going to go for a check up tomorrow but wonder if anyone on here has experienced anything similar?

She's well in herself otherwise - no fever, eating and sleeping as before.

skin around the spots is red as well.

I always knew these as milk spots and put them down to baby sleeping in milk or drool.

would make sense as she vomits a lot - strange how its spread though?
and is the redness normal?
