I am finding the Openings course very easy and speeing ahead, I want to go on and do the full 60pt course at level 1 in the same kind of subject. I wanted to know is there a huge jump in the level of work, I know the pace will quicker but is the content far more advanced or is it a similar starting point.

The Openings course seems to be more about learning the study techniques etc, which is great as I hadn't done any studying like this.

I don't know if I should wait and do another 10pt one in May or start the 30pt first part of the 60pt one (you can split it). Or I was considering doing 2 different 30pt ones together starting May argh!

Sorry not very clear
Doing a 10pt one that finishes in early July.

  1. Start another 10pt course in May, perhaps another in then do 60pt D100 course in Sept.
  2. Start first part D100 30pt in May then second part in Sept.
  3. Start 30pt D100 in May along with another 30pt course.

Darling... just jump right in with the 60pointer. You'll be fine.

The 60pointer doesn't start until Sept, and I am weeks ahead with this 10pointer. So I am tempted to start the 30pt half version along with another 30pointer. I just wondered if this would be too much for my brain and my time.

Perhaps more sensible to just do the 30pts over the summer and if I am coping start another 30pt one along with the second half in Sept???

Do the 2 30pts. Check though that the tutorials and TMA dates don't clash. I'm doing a 60pt Lit course and a 30pt French course. The French is so easy.

You can do it babe!

I did an opening course and then a level one and ther isn't that much difference between the level of work

go for the two 30s!

Is that a dare .

There is so much I want to do and I would love to get on with more rather than stringing it out over 20 years. Its just worry reading the description where they say you might want to consider doing soemthing else if this is your first attempt at university work.

I might see if there is another 30pt starting in May.

I do have to think about the finances too, but hey if I thought aboput it too much I wouldn't have done any courses at all.

I can get an ILA grant each year and I am using my Tesco club card points but thats it. DH has a decent wage now, but the system doesn't take into consideration we are paying of debts from having had crap wages for so long.
