He's just been offered his PHD placement in Chemistry.

It is quite (very probably) possible I gave birth to a Doctor 22 years ago. Me?! What! My little boy. Well, he's 6'2" now but he's still my little boy.

Tell him that you're proud of him so much so he gets bored of it. My dad never does (he's a quiet man) but I find out from people who he works with that he doesn't shut up about me being a nurse. He was admitted to hospital last year and asked all the nurses "do you know bickeypegs? That's my daughter" and it nearly makes me cry.
