morning routine

I am pretty much an organized parent however I find that waking up in the morning very difficult and end up rushing through breakfast and getting ready.

I have even written down a routing so I try to stick to it but every morning I am so tired that I always get up late or worse last one which causes havoc in the morning.

any ideas? and I go to sleep fairly early at around 9 - 9.30 so I am getting a good night's sleep.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

How old is/are your child/children?

Do you do as much as you can the night before? Put out clothes and shower?

Do you need to get up earlier?

BertieBotts · 01/03/2017 20:33

Where do you have to be and what times? What age and how many children?

Windsorian · 02/03/2017 08:09

we leave home at 7.15 and drop children off early to school so I can be at work by 8.30.

children are 5 and 7

If you are generally tired it maybe worth seeing your GP.

Make sure everything is ready the night before, bags, lunch boxes, clothes laid out and breakfast things ready.

I would second a GP visit. You must be getting 8.5/9 hours sleep per night, but still shattered and/or sleeping in? Or do you not actually sleep at 9/9.30 but faff in bed for a while? (Very guilty of this myself)
