Bedside cot for older baby - recommendations?

Could anyone recommend a bedside cot that's big enough for an older baby (currently 8 months)? We've had a Snuzpod but he's too big for it now, and I'd like to keep him in with us for at least a few more months as he still feeds a lot at night and it's easier to co-sleep. I've looked at the Troll bedside cot, but I don't think it'll work in our bedroom. Has anyone found an alternative, especially one that's pretty narrow? Thanks.

We had a cot bed pushed up to our bed with a side taken off for our 8mo (just put the side back on but still pushed up to us in readiness to move her into her own room in a few weeks), which worked brilliantly for us but guess will be no good if you're mentioning the need for something narrow?

We also bought a bigger bed to accommodate the toddler and baby in the mornings (they come in with us to have their milk and watch cartoons whilst we come to and think wistfully about the days when 6am was still considered night time). Could that and cosleeping be an option if space is really limited? That way you are only using up a few inches more of your floor space. You can fit a bed guard if you are concerned about them crawling/rolling off the edge.

Thanks - a cot with the side taken off is looking like the only option at the moment. My worry with doing this is what do you do when the baby goes to bed early evening but you're not in bed for a few hours yet? Isn't there a risk they could roll / crawl onto the main bed and fall off?

We have a cot bed with the side taken off wedged against our bed for our almost 3 yr old (!). He's a 99.6th centile child and still has plenty of space so that would be a good long term solution.

Mine doesn't move until morning Artioo2. That's not to say she in any way STTN, she just sticks her head up (tummy sleeper) and screams until her servants tend to her if she wakes about six times a night at the moment. In the morning, yes we had to be careful she didn't crawl out and off of the bed, but this involved getting over/past me first which alerted me to her intentions!
We used the same set up for her sister who did try to escape. For her we set the mattress to its lowest setting so it was lower than ours, creating a mini wall she'd need to climb first to get out. By the time she could get past that she could also safely climb down from our bed.

We also used a cot bed with one side taken off, wedged up to our bed. It caused a few problems in the period when ds started to be able to crawl but wasnt able to climb down safely, so we ended up having to lie with him until he was asleep. Once asleep we just watched with a video monitor. Worked fine but still not broken the habit 2 years later!
