.........he needed the next size up! sounds simple yet it took me nearly a week to work out!

think i had a problem coz he's still within the weight range of the size 1 prefolds but they were leaking. the size 1 shaped are fine as long as they are covered by a size 2 wrap! and i thought this cloth nappy stuff would be easy?!

It is easy-ish... but as someone once said - nothing's worth doing if you don't have to think about it a bit.

And if noone ever said it, I just did, so someone did, now.

PS and for everything else there's mumsnet

People have the same problem with disposables. From reading a couple of years' worth of threads it seems as though more often than not the solution to leaking nappies, whether cloth or disposable, is to go up a size (and I had the same issue with DS -- well within the weight limits for Size 1 Tots Bots, but he needed to go up to Size 2 for the leaks to stop). With #2 I shall remember... at least, that's the theory.

dd was exactly the same with her prefolds, was always miles below the weight range suggested

I had it with DD too
