Potty to toilet, how? help?

dd1 has been using her potty at home for a few months but will not go anywhere near a toilet, she say's its too scairy and screams if she is made to sit on it.
I would like her to be toilet trained as she has just started pre-school, i have been sending her in a pull-up and she hates it when they have to change her (gets verry upset).

Any ideas how to get her to sit on the toilet?

if you manage to get her to sit on it sit in front of her on your knees and let her put her arms around your neck

let her read a book

have a radio in the toilet

let her see you do a wee and that the wee and the paper dont fall down until you get off and flush

(i remember dd1 was scared if she slipped she would fall down into oblivion)
