I've read that it's not advisable to buy a second medela swing pump as it's an open system and therefore there's a risk of mould growing in places that can't be sterilised.
However, as that's the case, is it not a risk when you buy a new pump and use it yourself anyway?
I've heard so many good things about the medela swing so have always been looking at getting this model. My friend is selling theirs and they only used it for a week but I can't decide whether it's ok or not? Any advice?
