I'm hopping mad with driver at pedestrian crossing

I'm two thirds of the way across walking with two toddlers, the lights start flashing, he revs his engine and then drives on and we're not even on the pavement yet. I'm spitting nails with fury. Inconsiderate *hole.

what an arse. people are getting much more inconsiderate on the roads now. i nearly got run over today too, because two 4 x 4s didn't want to wait half a second for me to cross.

I was stopped at a crossing the other day so a little old lady could cross, and some lunatic overtook me! At a crossing! I jus wish I'd got his number so I could have reported him.

Potoroo, I remember reading a similar incident that happened years ago in London, and the overtaking driver killed a 9-year-old girl that was crossing. He was banned from driving - no consdolation to her parents who had watched her battle leukeamia for 6 years.
Some drivers are so inconsiderate and should not be allowed near a steering wheel. They don't seem to care what the consequences will be, and usually some poor person needs to die before it engages into their tiny brain.

Last year i was crossing a pedestrian crossing, the man was green and the lights were at red. A man just kept driving, right across the crossing. I had a tandem double buggy and a toddler with me. The best of it is he stopped just the other side of the crossing to go to the spar. He didn't get out the car though, so, me being me, i knocke don his window and asked him if he was aware that going through a red light was against the law. He told me to F*k off. I got out my mobile, and phoned the civivlian police, and gave them his number and explained what had happened, they agreed that he had indeed broken the law.
I was taking up a lot of the road with the buggy and he could have hit me, or the buggy

I really hate this. I have had several rows when driving too - when some idiot behind has started beeping becuase I refuse to drive forwards amongst pedestrians still crossing when the light is flashing.

The bloody bus drivers do it too...start edging pedestrains out of the way as soon as the flashing starts. Ggrrrrrr.

As I understand it the flashing means that if there are pedestrians actually crossing they have right of way while the orange lights flash, but if there are no pedestrians crossing, you can drive through?
