Health Visitor visits - how often?

Just wondered how often your health visitor comes round? My ds is 5 weeks and she's been round every 2 weeks.

A friend of mine mentions she gets her baby weighed at a clinic and only had one visit from the HV.

Do the visits tail off? DS is healthy and I'm fine.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

At 8 weeks they will stop coming to see you unless there are major issues.

It varies in each NHS trusts. NHS says every child is entitled to 5 key visits/appointment by the age of 2 and 1/2: during pregnancy, 10 days, 6-8 weeks, 9-12 months and 2-2 and 1/2

But you don't have to see them if you don't want to. Weigh ins aren't compulsory unless they've been advised by GP/doctor for weight gain issues.
