I am mum to an only child, and an only child myself, and I think it depends on your own experiences , I loved being an only and my DD does as well. She does have the personality for it though, very outgoing etc. She is also adamant she doesn't want any siblings and has no interest in babies whatsoever, which suits me and DH, I love it just being us 3, it's everything I want.
