Please can someone work this out as I'm not sure and am getting muddled (pregnancy brain I'll blame it on)

When will my children start school?
My eldest was born August 2015
My child to be is due September 2017

And am I right in thinking they will be 2 years difference in age but 3 years difference in school years?

Thanks.

They start the year they turn 5. So, your eldest - 2019. Your youngest - 2022.

Yes, 3 schools years apart. I think that's right (and it feels weird to type 2022. Too far into the future).

Eldest will be one of the youngest in his class and the youngest will be one of the eldest providing he doesn't come early and get born in the August! Then they'll be 2 years apart at school.

Eldest will start in Sept 2019, just after turning 4.

Youngest will start in Sept 2022, just before they are 5.

So yes, 2 years apart in age but 3 school years apart.

Thank you. I had a feeling it was 3 school years but it just didn't look right on paper!
