tantrums and rashes - advice please?

Hiya, just took DD for a bath and she threw a BIG wobbler about it as usual. She got herself all worked up and started going really red all over and scratching her chest like mad (was stripped for bath).

I've just checked now and she does have a few little marks on her chest, which could just be marks from her scratching, don't really look like spots.

The thing is she's been poorly the last week or so with vomiting/diarhoea. Doc said it was a bug that's going round. She hasnt been sick for a couple of days now, although she has got a cold.

I'm wondering if it's just a reaction because of the tantrum or could it be something else?

Any ideas?

It could be part of the tantrum, her way of displaying her anger - trying to get the feeling of wetness of her skin if she didn't want it there in the first place.
0therwise it could be a reaction to something.
Did you put anything in the bath? Does she have eczema or anything? Is she teething?
If you think it is connected to her being poorly, I would ring the NHS direct (long way round because they will tell you to contact your out of hours Doctors) best to have it checked.
If you are not worried because there is no rash and she has settled down now, just keep an eye on her.

She's loads better today. She has marks still but they are scratches I think, it hasn't spread anywhere else and she seems a lot better.

Glad she is more settled. Its so worrying the things they get up to isn't it?!!!!!!
