Hiya,

I don't know what the average age for sitting unsupported is, but my dd didn't until she was 8 months. I asked the Consultant at her 8-month check and he said it was fine.

Neither of mine have sat unsupported at 6 months dd was 7 months ds was 8 months.
DD also never really rolled either don't think she actually bothered rolling over until she was much older after she could crawl anyway she would lol about on her side. DS is a master roller but showing no signs of crawling yet at 10 months.

They are all different honestly and you have nothing to worry about by the time they start nursery or school nobody will be able to tell who rolled over first or walked first. Anyway just enjoy the fact you have a plokable baby just now because even when the rolling starts you cannot take your eyes off them.

neither of my first two rolled - maybe once or twice

neither of them could sit up until they were 8 months

dd3 sat at 6 months, but she also crawled at 6 weeks so she is officially Super Baby

My DS never rolled. Didn't sit unsupported till 8 months. Crawled at 11 months. Walked at 15 months.

(Got his first tooth early though!!)

DD sat at eight months, and is only just thinking about rolling at 9.5months.

I was told babies learn to sit unaided between the ages of 6 and 10 months.
