Help - Fancy dress for school "nursery rhymes", ideas please

My DS1 is almost 4, not a fan of dressing up and they are doing World book day at preschool and requesting that the children dress up as nursery rhyme characters.
Any suggestions? I need something simple that he can go to the toilet in and nothing too fancy (I'm not a great costume maker)
Help please.

Jack (Jack & Jill) all he needs is a bucket & a plaster on his forehead

That is a fantastic idea!!! Small bucket from his sand pit and a plaster. That is sheer genius!! Thank you.
