What nappies do you use through the night

Have been using Aldi nappies but dd always wakes up through the night and I've just clicked on that maybe it's her nappy that's disturbing her (thought it was just for milk but she should be sleeping through by now at 1)

Which nappies would you recommend for through the night - she's in 4+ for the Aldi nappies

Always pampers through the night. Expensive but no leaks

Mol1628 · 27/01/2017 08:26

Aldi or Lidl. It's pretty normal for a one year old to wake in the night so the nappy might not make a difference.

We use Aldi and have never had a problem. However DS isn't a heavy wetter.

Huggies night time potty training pants work well here. Only get them when they're £2 in Asda baby sale though 😂

anyname123 · 27/01/2017 08:29

Asda own brand nappies here day and night, they are fab.

Hopelass · 27/01/2017 08:30

I'm going back to ALDI. Was given some pampers which have been completely shit and leaked every night. ALDI are perfect for us and were with DS1 too. I've obviously not got pampers shaped children!

Laineymc7 · 27/01/2017 08:30

ASDA supreme protection. Never had a leak. Pampers are not good for night. They always leak.

dottydee3 · 27/01/2017 08:31

Naty 4+

FiaMarrow · 27/01/2017 08:33

Tesco ones are good - purple packet

n0ne · 27/01/2017 08:34

We've used Naty from day 1 (DD is nearly 4 now) and never had leaks, day or night, unless she was due to go up a size.

TheMasterNotMargarita · 27/01/2017 08:35

I'm watching this too op.
We've been using pampers but bought some of the new baby dry ones by mistake and they are rubbish!

NickyEds · 27/01/2017 08:42

Ds- Pampers over night and Asda during the day. He had a terrible reaction to Aldi ones- not like nappy rash but big red swellings, awful
Dd- Asda or Aldi. She has never had a problem with them.

Never get leaks with either of them. I've always though leaks were more about sizing than the actually nappy?

Summerdays2014 · 27/01/2017 09:52

Pampers or Asda both work well for us.

ElphabaTheGreen · 27/01/2017 09:58

It's perfectly normal for a 1yo to be still waking at night, OP. I think you're clutching at straws to blame the nappy...

Sunshine1509 · 27/01/2017 10:26

The nappies aren't leaking but she does drink a lot of water through the day so when she is waking her nappy is very full - another one or 2 wees and it would probably leak, i have no issue with the Aldi nappies during the day just need something a bit more heavy duty for the night.

I know that some 1 year olds do wake through the night but I know she can sleep from about 7.30 through till 5/6 - on days where she hasn't drank a lot and nappy has been ok through the night she has slept well so I'm just guessing it might be that, and it's always random times, I don't mind her waking up, she usually has some milk and goes straight back to sleep anyway but I hate to think that the nappy is disturbing her iykwim

Pampers- premium protection not baby dry. They will last my dd 13 hours.

annlee3817 · 29/01/2017 16:09

We use the Sainsburys plus sizes for night, much better than others we have used, sit nice and high.

Changingagain · 29/01/2017 16:12

Pampers premium protection (buy loads when they're bogof at tesco as they are now) work for us.
This seems to come up every other day on our local fb mums group though and there's never a clear winner, so I think it's just trial and error to see what suits your child.

NewYearNewStinkyPants · 29/01/2017 16:16

Definitely pampers for night time, have tried others when short of money but have had leaks. I've personally never had a pampers leak in 12 years and 4 kids.

CarrotPuff · 29/01/2017 21:40

We use cloth. DD is such a heavy wetter disposables don't stand a chance.
