Toddler eye colour

Talk to me about your toddlers eye colour.
Our 13 year old has blue eyes like my husband. Our 12 year old daughter has brown eyes like me.
Our youngest daughter is now 16 months. Her eyes are like a slate grey. Sometimes they have speckles of green, other days they look blue. She's like a human mood ring. Has anyone else's little one had grey colour eyes at this age? What colour did they change to?
I know it doesn't matter, I'm just curious.

dc3's were quite gey for a while whilst she was little (can't remember exactly the ages).
She's 15 now and they are blue, but a lighter blue than her siblings'.

DS had blue eyes at birth, then developed central heterochromia (google it - this might be why her eyes appear to change colour) with streaks of brown radiating from the pupil, which went through a stage of being gray and then went to hazel and now mostly brown.

Tbh OP I'm 35 and my sis is 38. Our eyes are quote like this, and the 17 yo nephew. My eyes are bley green with yellow and sometimes they look more grey... I love them, my favourite thing about me! Hoping DS inherits the cool eyes

DS's eyes didn't settle down until he was about 2.5 yo (they are green)

It always felt a bit stupid not to be able to say what colour his eyes were!

My eyes are blue blue blue, dos are dark brown, dv1 has blue blue eyes, dc2 has eyes that are either the colour of pencil lead or green/brown/grey- dc3 has definite green eyes- but they didn't settle until age 3 or 4.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Eyes are so interesting. It amazes me how different they can look day to day. Her eyes are just so beautiful. I'd love them to stay the way they are.

I have brown eyes, DH has blue. We have two children with indeterminate eyes! They started blue and stayed blue for 18 months-2 years ish. Then went greyer. Then all kinds of other colours kicked in! My DS has brown/green/grey and blue in his eyes (he's now 10), my DD has mostly greeny-blue with some brown/gold.
Weirdly most people at a glance would say my DS has brown eyes as they are very dark but they're most definitely not brown when you look properly.
i usually say they have hazel eyes, I think that encompasses eyes with multiple colours. I love them, I think it's so fascinating!

Dd1 who's Is nearly 6 has brown eyes like me. They started as a navy blue then went a grey blue and were fully brown at about 2 and a half. Dd2 has blue eyes like her dad and they have been that colour since birth

Also my sister has eyes that change colour depending on what light she is in. Indoors they are blue but in bright light/sun they are green. Very unusual but beautiful (especially if she cries). DB has grey eyes, they look like zombie eyes up close

Ds and dd1 both have blue eyes like me, their dad has brown eyes. Their eyes have never really changed colour from being babies.

Dd2 has green eyes like dh but I can't remember at what age they changed from blue to green.

Dd3 is 2.5 and did have really bright blue eyes but they have recently changed to a slate grey. I have a feeling they might turn green eventually like dd2.

This is the colour this evening. Earlier today they were more a denim blue is how I can describe them. They change all the time.

I've got green eyes DH has grey blue eyes.

Both our girls have vivid sapphire like blue eyes (3 and 10 months).

My eyes sometimes get a little bit of brown speckles in them but mostly green.

I have blue/green, DH has dark brown.

DD1's were dark brown at birth, and remain unchanged at 2.8yo.

DD2's were a dark steely grey at birth and changed to mid brown by around 5mo. She's 7mo now and they seem to be getting darker, although nowhere near as dark as her sister's (yet!).
