Hubby being bad influence

I feel that hubby is bad influence on our DS aged 13. DS is getting into trouble at school because of how he is talking to and how he is treating others. And I think my hubby is a contributing factor. When in the car, if my hubby sees a driver do something silly, his reaction is to say..."bet she's blond". Walking down the street - he spots a larger lady, he says "bet she's never seen a salad"...to name but a few. Now my eldest is getting into trouble because of how he's talking to and treating his friends and teachers. I've had words with my hubby but he seems oblivious to it all. Any suggestions please.

What is he saying, just being rude and unpleasant? I think at 13 he's old enough to know that there are ways to behave in certain situations but saying that his dad sounds like a knob.

Yes, DS is making fun of other people's appearances and picking on them! Not being sympathetic to their feelings. Says he'd be fine if they made fun of himself and he can't understand why others take it to heart. DS doesn't think he's doing any wrong. And I agree my hubby is a knob (lazy, useless knob!)! And I don't want my son turning out like him.
