what is the going rate for a 16 yr old babysitter?

using a babysitter tonight for the first time and i wondered what the going rate was? i live in the south east

2 kids, will hopefully both be asleep and stay asleep!!!

I pay mine a tenner up till midnight and £5 per hour after midnight. We also pay for a taxi home and she is allowed to eat/drink what she likes (I get in coke, crisps etc)and use the phone (not to mobiles!!!!)

She occasionally has to deal with DD but knows her well now.

I live in South west so rates may be a bit higher for you greedy.

I'm in N London and pay mine £4 p/hr. I have 5 children.
