Which shampoo do you use on your baby?

DD is three months old. Until now I've just rinsed her hair with warm water, but I've noticed it's getting a bit greasy (from our faces when we hold/snuggle her) and sometimes when she's sick it gets in her hair behind her ears.

She has VERY mild cradle cap, hardly noticeable unless you actively look, and a fair bit of hair.

What do you use on your little beasts?

I use johnsons it's yellow and smells lush, only use a tiny dot twice a week

Weldeda calendula body wash and shampoo. We held out until 3 months too, when my friend said his hair smelt a bit "old mannish" and I decided the "no chemicals" rule was over

Johnsons can trigger sensitive skin, and DP and I both had childhood eczema, hence using weleda

Child's Farm is amazing for sensitive skin and you can get it in most big shops.

We use johnsons first touch, even now though he's 16 months.
He had cradle cap badly. We used baby oil, rubbed it in, washed it off, and then used his baby brush to gently brush back to lift away the flakes

Weldada stuff mentioned above. It worked well in DD cradle cap.

At 8 months we only wash every other night depending on how much food is in it. She is very bald still so I think I might get to her second birthday on the same bottle.

We use Tesco own baby shampoo.

We used aveeno baby shampoo on ds (I use it too as we both have eczema). It's good stuff, doesn't aggravate the skin, nice and gentle etc

We use Simple baby stuff. It's all over body wash I think. We used Johnsons with dd1 but then she got bad cradle cap

Johnsons is full of shit. I never really bothered reading labels until I had my boy, then I read everything, and was shocked at the crap they put in things.

I used Weleda or Child's Farm or whatever else I could get in my local health food shop.

Is still use Child's Farm on my son and on me. It's the only shampoo that doesn't irritate my sensitive scalp or leave a build up.

We use the Johnsons one and using it daily and then brushing with a soft brush got rid of DDs mild cradle cap in a few weeks.

I use Burt bees baby products on all my kids, don't like anything with chemicals in. Johnsons is terrible for the crap they put in their products.

Mustela 2 in 1 cleansing gel. My DD has very dry skin and eczema, so we use Oilatum in the bath, but have used this as a shampoo since birth with no irritation or dry skin problems. My DD has cradle cap for the first few months too. It is paraben, SLS free and smells divine!

Haha MoreBush on the 'old mannish' smelling baby. DD smells lovely to me, but is suspect I'm biased!

DD's skin is pretty dry (and I get eczema) so I think the Aveeno product or the Waleda could be a good first stop. I wish the J&J products were a bit 'friendlier' as the smell of the yellow shampoo takes me right back to being a kid myself (I was a hairwashing denier, I used that stuff until I was about ten).

We only Bath her every other day (top and tail between) so I think I'll use shampoo only once or twice a week.

Another vote for child's farm here. My dd had terribly dry skin and these products cleared it right up. The shampoo smells amazing and is so gentle. It's usually an add on item on amazon for much less than you buy in store (I paid £1.75 for bottle of shampoo last time). X

Child's Farm. They're the only products not to have dried out my DS's skin & scalp. They also do a newborn range if you're after a less fruity smell!

We use Dentinox, originally bought it for my oldest when he had cradle cap but it's lovely. Smells nice, makes their hair all fluffy, and lasts forever.

Childs Farm here too (although my children are now toddlers). I use it too actually. It smells very yummy!

My DS has very sensitive skin and cradle cap and I found Child's Farm is great.

We use sainsburys own baby range which doesn't have anything in it - I too miss the johnsons smell especially the purple baby bath
Going to look at child's farm although the eldest 2 use voseene 3 in 1 - fucking headlice!!
