What does your toddler do while the older siblings are watching 'scarey' DVDs?

My older three are watching a Harry Potter DVD and the two year old is scared. I keep taking him out but then he wanders back to the sitting room.

This is really tricky. I can't watch him all the time. I guess I could stop the others watching the film but tbh I'm enjoying the break and how else am I going to get to MN?

He won't go for the bed idea but might well be up for a bit of pasta pouring.

Oh we had this problem today! Normally dd saves her scary stuff for after he's gone to bed, and has to put up with Cars or CBeebies. Today we were in all afternoon so we put the laptop in her room and she watched up there while ds played downstairs.
It would be tricky if she was watching downstairs. Unless I was with ds the whole time playing in his room, I don't think I could keep him out of the living room.
