Constant guilt

Does anyone feel the same.....?!

My son is 2 in May and since I went back to work last Feb I have constantly felt guilty about being back at work. So much so that I quit my job and have actually started my own company (albeit don't have any clients yet) Then I felt guilty about my son being in nursery while I was home trying to set up the business and not bringing any money in, so i now have a part time job!

However now I feel like I'm sinking, I can't get enough done for the business, the house is a tip and I still feel guilty when I leave my boy at nursery!

I know I couldn't be a full time stay at home mum and everything i do always try to put the family first so why do I feel so horrendous!

Good grief, give yourself a break! Is your son happy at nursery?

The reality is there isn't always a perfect solution, you've got to do what works best for you and your son. Not what seems best for your just your son. If you wouldn't be happy being a SAHM then surely you'll be a better mother by working as well? I don't much like being a SAHM, was much happier when I returned to work part time (though I felt just as much guilt to start with)
