Moral support.. Story sharing please!

I'll start.
I basically have the devil child 😂
She's 3 months, first it was reflux and colic, then it was just colic, then it was teething, had a good week, back on teething.
The result is the same and that's basically hour long crying sessions!
I'm done asking for help, I know I just have to do my best to comfort her and ride it out, but can someone else please share about difficult babies just so I don't feel like the only mummy with a nightmare child 😩 she's such a happy baby when she's not crying bless her!

Is it only the night time she cries? My DD used to have a witching hour every night where she screamed for no reason but she grew out of it thank god.

Currently she has just mastered standing up so now she refuses to sleep in her cot and stands up at night until we put her in our bed They have the power haha!

Mine cried for about 4 months. Unless you were rocking her in your arms or pushing her in the pram.
She got better. She's just turned one and is a delight.

It will get better. I really don't get the adoration of tiny babies, both of mine were grumpy. Once they cold sit up and then have proper food we got on a lot better.

My first one I thought was difficult, but turns out she was just a bit clingy and was actually an angel, cus this one is a nightmare 😂

It literally changes like every week or two! I can't even put a patten on it cus it's so frequently switching. At the moment, it's mainly in the day time and basically every time she feeds! My eldest is two and she's as good as gold.

I can't wait until the month is up and I can try her on some baby rice! Things got easier with weaning last time x

I have exactly the same thing. My DD went through a stage of crying from 9pm-1am every night and turned into a gremlin until I realised she was overtired. I then had to force her to nap by nursing etc to get her to make up sleep time. She now is in bed by 9.30 but I still have to spend alot of time making her sleep during the day at nearly 5 months! Forget trying to install a routine. Other people's children seem so placid in comparism and everyone tells me how "lively" DD is. Nightmare. However she is really happy during the day and hoping weaning will help :-) Does anyone think earlier bedtimes can help this sort of thing? But totally feel for you BlankSpace1!

Bless you! That does sound difficult, installing routine sounds like a great idea, but while she's this young that's all it's going to be for me haha, as I have a 2 year old and work 3 days a week 12 hour shifts so it's impossible!

I'm currently sat at the doctors waiting for an emergency appointment for LO after having another nightmare morning and just feeling like something really isn't right. I've had to syringe feed her because she won't drink and hasn't had a bottle since 2am,
But of course she's currently sound asleep (finally) and I'm going to have to wake her up to be seen 😫
I'm hoping weaning will help too! Good luck to you!

Update, she's fine! Changed bottles and we've had two successful feeds!

What a nightmare for you! But glad it is over! It seems once you have it figured then something changes but at least you know one source of problems!

I have been putting down DD strictly 1.5 hours after waking in her cot for naps and she has slept every time without fail!! One time for 1hr and 30! Someone is obviously looking after us! :-)

Yeah I'm hoping that will be it for a while now!
