Hi

I have a son of almost 17mths & was thinking of getting the Spanish MUZZY language Dvd- I wonder if I am thinking of doing this too early?? But aparently it says this is the perfect time as he will be like a little sponge!??

has anyone used this course & if so how did i go for them? What age was your child?
I dont actually speak Spanish & so dont know if Im wasting my time getting this for him?

Any advice would be great

xx

There was an ad for them on TV this morning, they are about £145 for the whole set. How many levels are in the one you could get for £35? If it's not too much of a gamble financially you could always keep it for later when your child is ready.

Hi, I am German and we got the German Muzzy Dvd's for our son (aged 3 1/2 at the time) and tbh they are not worth it at all! The animation, the stories..everything about them smacks of Seventies..it's just awful! He watched them for a little while and then completely lost interest. And I can't blame him!

I too find the Muzzy language sets awful!!

We are raising our children bilingually (I am german) and have tried out the both the German and French Muzzy series but find the sound quality, the story line and the contents really old fashioned and daft. Definately not worth the money they cost.

You are better off buying dvds and books in the language you are interested in your children learning (does amazon have a Spanish website?).
