Sd (8 in march) told her aunty that she was getting bullied by a gang of girls since last Septemeber in her school. i overheard her and said to SD that she can talk to me if any probs with anything. She was alot happier as got it all out in the open.
I asked her if her mum knows and she said yes but her mum is just being extra nice and not doing anything about it!!
me and SIL told her what to do next time as poss that her best mate is jealous of SD hanging around with the boys in school and wants them to be her friend and not to SD.
SD is a very sensitive sentimental child who is very shy and holds everything in. Once Sil said that she can talk to her Dad too, she burst out crying saying she didnt wants her dad to know. (i think her Mum had told her from a very young age not to tell Dad anything)
i just hope she can and will stand up for herself but she is so sensitive to most things.. eg last week she was sobbing thru a film that wasnt sad but it was the music or she watched a childrens show about a Vet practice using toy animals but SD started to fill up as a toy rabbit had died!...
