I'm not sure if this is in the right forum but I need advice Sad DD is 7 weeks old, and for 5 hours now just won't settle, she has diarrhoea and chunky reflux, is only dozing for 10-20 mins at a time and is crying often but not constantly. I don't know what to do! I'm on my own and my family aren't picking up their phones. This is the 3rd day of this happening at night with each night getting progressively worse, I'm going for an emergency GP appointment tomorrow but I don't know what to do overnight, I'm just so worried Sad she just seems so uncomfortable

Also she's feeding little and often (10-20mls an hour) and seems hungry but is refusing most of her milk

No real advice but I do feel for you as the nights can seem very long when baby will not settle. Sure somebody will be along with some suggestions .

Formula or breastfed? Wondering if bf if something you ate at dinner time?
Currently pacing with my 10 week old who has had a rough few nights. No closer to the reason why other than maybe wind but staying calm is so hard. My plan tonight is the second she dozes off we are getting into the wee nest I made and I'm going to sleep with her on my chest. Far from ideal but I'll go insane from sleep deprivation at this point. And she's keeping the toddler awake :(
Things that help dd temporarily at least - warm water bottle on belly, bath, walking around in a kinda bouncy way and constant patting of back, tiger in tree hold and putting xmas lights into a twinkly mode that I normally can't stand!

She's formula fed. I'm at my wits end, and am not sure who's crying more at this point Sad the Christmas tree lights only worked for about 30 seconds Confused at this point I think I've tried everything and nothing seems to settle her for more than a minute, she looks exhausted Sad

If you ring the maternity ward a midwife will give you some advice.

Is there no way of getting a GP appointment today? Presumably they know it's a 7 week old with diarrhoea? I'm surprised they haven't seen her today. If you get more worried about her you can take her to A&E, if she doesn't seem right.

Do you have a partner that will be back at any point?
