Can you throw some present ideas at me for a three year old (turned 3 two months ago) please. What have you got yours?

My dd will be 3 next week. Spread between her birthday and Christmas, she's getting:

Wooden dolls house
Pop Up Pirate game
Dalmatian Peppy Pup
Handmade rag doll
Small plush Elsa, Anna & Olaf
2x books (one is a sticker activity book)
A pack of Tsum Tsums

Family are getting her:

High chair and small cot for her baby doll
A couple of dress up costumes
Cash register
A dog toy in a zip up carrier which she will love
Some My Little Pony toys
Craft things like paint etc
And probably some other small bits!

My DS is almost 3.5, we've got him a kids vtech camera, a pop up darth vader game (like pop up pirates), the shopping list game, some model dinosaurs, some play ice cream cones and a few smaller bits like socks/pants/dressing gown/craft items. His nan is buying him the play mobile fire station. I think he's getting too much!

My 3.3 year old is getting the following for Xmas:

Chocolate coins
Dolls house
Dress up stuff
Play doh castle
Jigsaw
Kitty surprise
Leapfrog till
Little Miss Books
Secret Life of Pets dvd
Felt pens

That's from us and (large) family. She wants a Baby Annabelle, but she has got to wait until she's 4 because I can only cope with one baby crying right now (ds) and I don't think she has the manual dexterity to change nappies/clothes on her own.

I can recommend Diving Danny (wow toys) for a bath toy if that's a consideration.

If there are no younger siblings(to eat it) how about Playmobil? The campervan is universally loved on mn it seems.

Oh, mine loves shape snap by orchard toys. It's really helped teaching about shapes. Most of their games are awesome. We have far too many, but actually, they all get played with though. They do great jigsaws too.

My 3 year is getting a slide as his main present - will give it him in the spring. For his stocking he is having:

Choc coins
Wind up toy soldier
Toot toots bin lorry
Singing vibrating wand toy
Monster colouring pencils
Dragon hot water bottle
Choc father christmas
Tangerine

Family are getting him books, brio train bits, toy post office, toy camera etc

WeeM · 14/12/2016 21:04

Bike
Kitchen
Wooden train set from Aldi
Flik flak watch (she's obsessed with asking the time!)
Kinetic sand
Mr frosty ice cream maker
Lucy the dog
Orchard toys game

We haven't got her all these things by the way!

GeekyWombat · 14/12/2016 21:22

My DD is 2.8. She's getting:

Early Learning Centre till and some play food to sell in her shop
Doc McStuffins medical bag
Bubble making fairy wand (we go to the beach every Sunday and she loves blowing bubbles and watching them blow away onto the water)
Shopping List (Orchard Toys game)
The Gruffalo Cookbook
And then a stocking with Gruffalo knickers, socks, scarf, chocolate coins, colouring etc in.

Wider family members have got her the Little Tikes Crazy Coupe car (she's obsessed by the one at soft play), a Doc Macstuffins V Tech clipboard thing that helps you learn how to write and a Codeapillar (sp?) which is a Fisher Price toy that (apparently) teaches toddlers rudimentary computer coding.

She's going to be busy well into the new year!

Ds will be three just before Christmas and split between his birthday and Christmas he's getting:
Happy Land zoo
Jigsaws
Orchard toys game- some sheep one
Books
Crafty bits
Huge great big 'Mac' car carrier plus a load of cars, from the Cars film. This was all dp's idea!
A big jig train
Mr & Mrs potato head
Wind up torch
Night light
Black plane (cheap thing from home bargains but it was something he's reliably asked Santa for)
Tiger teddy
Chocolate

TwatteryFlowers · 15/12/2016 08:35

I have only skimmed through the thread so apologies if I'm repeating other ideas but for my 4 y old we have got:
Kiddizoom Camera
Tablet (as part of a shared gift with her elder brother, paid for via my phone bill)
Splashy the whale game
Toy cars
Several books incl. a Paw Patrol box set of stories and annual
Lego sets and a big base plate
Clothes
Chocolate

The other year, when ds was 3 and dd was 2, we bought them a wooden play kitchen, play food and metal play utensils. At 4&5 they still play with this almost daily.
Last year we got them a big tub of Lego, a drs kit, a pushchair and doll each with a bag, bottles, nappies and clothes, more books and playdoh (that has since gone in the bin because it was a pita to get out of the carpet).
