My ex has been paying maintenance at a reduced amount for the past year, as he claims he is doing a training post and not earning as much. However have heard from friends that he is working (in a very well paid job!). He also won't increase the time he sees her (he does one night a fortnight), so I'm struggling to find childcare for work. My job involves nights and weekend shifts, had family that helped me out but can't anymore due to illness.
I'm really struggling so rang the csa today to query if they would be doing an annual review, as it's about a year since he reduced the amount. They said they weren't doing any reviews as they were moving my case onto a new scheme, and I will receive a letter in 6 months to a years time with details but couldn't update anything until then. The case was only set up about 2 years ago so as far as I'm aware, I'm on the most recent scheme! He also pays it directly via standing order so neither of us pay charges. Can't find anything via google regarding a new scheme and the lady on the phone wasn't very forthcoming! Has anyone had similar? Does anyone know anything about the new scheme?
